TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION AT CASA D’ABREU NETO
Please read this document carefully. Confirmation of the reservation and respective payment constitute full acceptance of the conditions set out below.
Casa d’Abreu Neto is classified as a municipal monument of interest, representing architectural and emotional heritage of significant value. It belongs to the d’Abreu Neto Family and is the first work of the architect Álvaro Siza — a singular landmark where architecture, art and memory intertwine.
Carefully restored, it preserves the authenticity of its original features, combining contemporary and period furnishings, designer pieces, lighting, works of art and books of considerable architectural, patrimonial and sentimental value.
Guests are expected to use the House responsibly, sensibly and respectfully, in keeping with its unique character.

• Maximum capacity: 7 guests (entire house rental);
• Cot available upon prior request;
• Bathrooms equipped with towels, natural toiletries, hairdryer, weighing scales, tissues and toilet paper;
• Bedrooms with seasonally appropriate bed linen, bathrobes and slippers;
• Laundry facilities including washing machine, tumble dryer, detergents, drying rack, ironing board and iron;
• Garden with leisure area and outdoor furniture;
• Free parking available in the immediate vicinity, no reservation required;
• Wi-Fi, Smart TV, sound system, laser games and library;
• Safety equipment: fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit;
• Fully equipped kitchen (appliances, utensils and condiments);
• Breakfast available upon prior request, at an additional cost per person;
• Airport 8 km; railway station 15 km; metro 400 m; bus stop 200 m.
Rates and Payments
• All prices are expressed in euros (€) and include VAT at the legal rate in force;
• Rates from €350 per night (entire house), subject to variation depending on season and applicable conditions;
• Minimum stay of 2 nights, subject to seasonal variation;
• Payment in accordance with the rules of the selected booking platform;
• A mandatory security deposit is required to guarantee the proper conservation of the property and its contents. It will be refunded after the final inspection, in accordance with applicable law;
• Final cleaning charged separately;
• For stays longer than 7 nights, an intermediate cleaning service will be provided at no additional cost (including, for example, change of bed linen and towels, and cleaning of bathrooms);
• Additional services (meals, transfers and tours) available upon quotation;
• Municipal tourist tax: €2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights, in accordance with local regulations.
Reservations
Reservations may be made through digital platforms or via the official Casa d’Abreu Neto website.
Modalities:
• Short- and medium-term stays;
• Entire house rental, from 1 to 7 guests;
• Minimum stay of 2 nights, subject to seasonal variation.
Cancellations
Cancellation conditions are those defined by the selected platform at the time of booking, in accordance with the Portuguese Local Accommodation legal framework and other applicable legislation.
Check-in
• From 4:00 pm;
• Preferably in person (arrival time to be communicated in advance);
• Self check-in available;
• Access via personal, non-transferable codes valid exclusively for the duration of the stay;
• Mandatory collection of identification details of all guests, in accordance with Portuguese law;
• Payment of the tourist tax at check-in, where applicable.
Check-out
• By 11:00 am;
• Late check-out subject to availability and additional charge;
• Guests are kindly requested to:
o Close all doors and windows and activate the alarm;
o Ensure no personal belongings are left behind;
o Leave the House in good condition, properly tidied, with food remnants and waste organised and, preferably, disposed of, in order to prevent odours and pests;
• A rigorous final inspection of the property will be carried out after departure.
